risten.no is a Sámi dictionary and terminology database. It contains:
a) Sámi terminological databases, Sámi word lists and Sámi dictionaries in South Sámi, Lule Sámi and North Sámi. More databases, word lists and dictionaries are continuously being made ready and will be included in the database. This database will therefore never be complete, and should be seen as a complement to existing dictionaries (all these references are in either Norwegian or Sámi).
In addition to the database where you can search for words and terms, risten.no also contains
b) a grammar section with info about South, Lule and North Sámi grammar
c) a history section with info about the three Sámi languages in Norway.
d) technical information about how the database is constructed (some information in English).
